At AutoGuard, we prioritize the privacy of our users and are committed to protecting your personal and public data. This policy outlines our practices regarding your information and how we respect your privacy.

Personal Information​

Your registration information is exclusively used to deliver our services. We collect your email address and certain personally identifiable information when you communicate with us. Rest assured, your email address is not displayed on the site to anyone.

Your identity on AutoGuard is linked to your Gmail address, visible to those you interact with or anyone who views your profile or your content. We do not share or sell the information we collect with other organizations, unless we have your consent, or under the following circumstances:

  • If it becomes necessary to share information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, spam, safety of any individual or third party, violations, or as required by law.
  • In case of a change of ownership, merger, or acquisition, we reserve the right to transfer all user information to a separate entity. We will notify you before the migration, at which point your information will be subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we ever do, we will comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

Publicly Available Information​

When you create an AutoGuard account with your Gmail address, some information about you and your account activity will be shared with other AutoGuard users. This includes your registration date, country, state, and any other location information you choose to make public.

Any content you submit to AutoGuard may be redistributed through the Internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by the public or other AutoGuard users. You are solely responsible for all the content you submit. AutoGuard is not responsible for any content stored in user accounts.

AutoGuard DashCam​

Our Android app offers the option to upload videos to YouTube, with privacy settings adjustable within the app. We do not collect personal information from your phone. However, for statistical purposes and targeted advertising, third-party libraries may collect, store, share, and/or transfer various anonymous end-user IDs and location data.

Policy Updates​

We may periodically update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes by placing a prominent notice on our site, and possibly sending a notice to the email address specified in your account.

YouTube API​

As an API Client, AutoGuard uses YouTube API Services. By using AutoGuard, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the YouTube's Terms of Service.

In addition, your use of AutoGuard is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Please note that our Privacy Policy does not specifically state that AutoGuard uses YouTube API Services. However, by using AutoGuard, you are implicitly agreeing to the use of these services.

If you wish to revoke AutoGuard's access to your data, you can do so at any time via the Google security settings.
